On Sunday, January 9th, 2022 the Long Creek Fire Department will celebrate “70” Years of Service to the citizens and visitors of Mecklenburg County. The department was granted its Charter on January 9 of 1952 and became the 8th volunteer fire department to form in Mecklenburg County.
