Thank you for your interest in wanting to become a part of the Long Creek Fire Department in Mecklenburg County. We are currently accepting applications for part-time employment only, from people that are state certified firefighters and are in the process of attending a basic emergency medical technician class. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter you can visit our mutual aid department (Cooks Volunteer Fire Department) at 3122 Mount Holly Huntersville Road near the intersection of Rozzelles Ferry Road. If you are interested in working for us on a part time basis you are welcome to visit our firehouse at 6809 Beatties Ford Road to pick up an employment package. Our on duty staff will be glad to explain our hiring process to you and we are an equal employment opportunity organization.
